Transformer logistics in Surat Basin
LCR recently executed a high-level logistics program for a Renewable Energy client to perform the lift n shift requirements for (2) two 196t Transformers. After many weeks of detailed planning LCR provided the client with a lift and shift solution utilising company assets.
LCR Heavy Lift Cranes AC500 & AC350t All Terrain Cranes supported by our skilled rigging crew crane at the AAT Terminal at the Port of Brisbane. Mobile cranes gave the client a cost-effective and fast-moving advantage to deliver two of these enormous Transformers in a very short time frame.
To complete the package LCR utilised our 16 Line Modular Draw Bar Platform, extra heavy-duty prime-movers and skilled transport team to manoeuvre this cargo from the Port of Brisbane deep into the Surat Basin.

AC1000/9 First lift
The quick setup time resulted in LCR mobilising to site, performing the lift and demobilising from site over three nights.
